What if doing less actually got you more clients?

Many coaches think the key to visibility is doing more, posting on every platform, showing up everywhere. But that’s exactly why it feels impossible. Here’s how to do it right.

What if the secret to reaching more clients wasn’t doing more, but doing less, better?

Most coaches think visibility means being everywhere, all the time. They jump from one platform to the next, trying to stay “consistent” while also posting on LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, maybe even Twitter… and let’s not forget email.

And at the end of the week?

  • No engagement.

  • No growth.

  • No new clients.

  • Total exhaustion.

It's all too common. Geez, that was me too.

But, the problem isn’t that you need to do more. It’s that you don’t have a plan. One that begins with lessening the work.

Let me show you the plan…

The CFO Visibility Method

Instead of trying to be everywhere, follow the CFO Visibility Method. It’s a simple way to increase visibility without burning yourself out.

  1. Consistent

  2. Frequent

  3. Optimized

Step 1: Consistent → Master One Thing First

Before you expand, get good at consistency.

  • Pick one main platform or content type.

  • Show up at the same frequency every week.

  • No skipping, no “I’ll get back to it next week.

Example:
If email is your main platform, commit to one email per week, every single week, before adding anything else. If you’re not sure what to write every week, then that’s part of your task. Find what you can write about consistently one time each week.

Step 2: Frequent → Increase Without the Crazy-ness

Once you’ve nailed consistency, then increase your output.

  • If you’ve been sending one email a week, go to two.

  • If you post twice on LinkedIn, try three times.

The most important thing? Only increase frequency once you’ve already gotten good with consistency.

Step 3: Optimized → Make Every Post, Email, and Video Work Better

Once you’ve reached your max sustainable frequency, make what you’re focused on work better.

  • Better subject lines → Higher open rates.

  • Stronger CTAs → More clicks & sales.

  • More engagement → Less effort, more reach.

Most coaches I talk to try to start with this step first, getting stuck in the fine-tuning before they have the audience or consistency. That’s why you struggle to grow.

Start with consistent → then frequent → then optimize.

Before You Expand, Check This First

Take 30 seconds and answer:

  • Have I posted or emailed at least once a week for the last four weeks?

  • Do I feel like I can do that easily and quickly?

If not, that’s your first fix before trying to expand. 

Your Energy Creates Your Reach

The coaches with the biggest audiences aren’t necessarily the ones with the most clients.

The ones who are consistent and have a plan are the ones who are growing their businesses faster.

Your audience feels your energy. If you’re posting from exhaustion, they’ll feel it. If you’re posting from alignment, they’ll feel that too. It’s good vibes.

Start small. Stay consistent. Expand when you’re ready. That’s how you build visibility, while bringing the good vibes.

Along with visibility and energy comes attracting or repelling. Literally. I’m very introverted, so visibility was tough for me in the beginning.

I would make attempts at being more visible only to bring the energy of “ick” or “I don’t like this” and well, you get the idea.

I’d take action to attract and bring the energy that repels. Not a good combo.

It had a lot to do with my brain. Actually, our brains are built to keep us safe which is in direct opposition to manifesting.
